In the late 1800's - the story begins with the first of us, a farmer displaced by the famines in Gujarat who started his trade in the shade of a neem tree at Evening Bazaar ....

In the year 2000, a millennium gift to us!  CURRIMBHOYS Adyar opens its doors to the customers and well wishers of south Madras in what used to be the compound of the Theosophical Society - the abode of The Master and spirituality in Madras. 

                                                              

  

2006 was the year the year that saw the shop at Pondy open its doors. The shop is located a less than 10 kilometers from Auroville - the world city, a vision that came true, a blessing by the Mother Mira and Sri Aurobindo. 

Currently, we have 3 stores our team is between 40 and 60 people strong with a sizable part of our customers being those who "walk in". Since 1984, our customers faith in us saw us in  B2B space in an organized way. These include Serviced Apartments, Hotels, Clubs, Restaurants, Guest Houses, Board Rooms. We have an inhouse printing unit  that allows for short runs printing logos and messages on Glass and Ceramics. Our prints are absolutely permanent and scratch proof.
